A Hardened leather buckler with your choice of color and handle wrap This version of our buckler has an extra large boss with a 7″ opening, better for accommodating most HEMA hand protection. Each buckler is made out of thick (1/4″) vegetable tanned cowhide which is boiled in wax to harden it considerably. They are 12″ wide and feature a 14 gauge steel boss and your choice of flat or round aluminum handle. You have the option of leaving the handle plain, or having it wrapped in leather to give it a bit more comfort in the hand. As always, customization is available.
