Use a seam roller ora rounded piece of wood to smooth the Flashband and ensure good contact is made. Surfaces must be sound, clean, dust-free, and dry. Use bituminous Flashband Primer to improve adhesion on porous, rough, dusty surfaces in cold or damp weather. Porous surfaces-dampen lightly with water before applying. Non-porous surfaces should be dry or only very slightly damp. Apply Flashband Primer with a water-dampened brush. Fill cracks wider than 3mm, deep hollows, or depressions.
